Abstract

Studi ini ditujukan menilai dampak Locus of Control dan pengalaman magang pada kesiapan kerja Generasi Z di kawasan Solo Raya, melalui Self-efficacy sebagai variabel perantara. Metode yang dipakai studi ini ialah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang memakai skala Likert 5 poin dari 200 responden yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Analisis data dikerjakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasilnya penelitian menampakkan , Locus of Control dan Self-efficacy mendapati pengaruh bermakna serta positif pada kesiapan kerja. Sebaliknya, pengalaman magang tidak membagikan pengaruh langsung yang bermakna, tetapi berkontribusi secara tidak langsung melalui Self-efficacy  sebagai mediator. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya menaikkan Self-efficacy  dan Locus of control dalam mempersiapkan Generasi Z menghadapi dunia kerja. Adapun keterbatasannya, studi ini hanya berfokus pada wilayah Solo Raya, sehingga hasilnya perlu diuji lebih lanjut guna wilayah lain. Studi ini membagikan kontribusi orisinal melalui mengintegrasikan Self-efficacy  sebagai mediator, serta menawarkan panduan bagi institusi pendidikan dan dunia industri dalam menaikkan kesiapan kerja generasi muda.
